Easter

On Sunday afternoon, I was making angel food cake with Annie and we were talking about calling Grandma to wish her a happy Easter. I said to Annie, "We'll call and say 'Happy Easter Bunny!'" She started laughing and she just seemed to be cracking herself up with her own laughter. It was fabulous. Here is her Easter dress. We had a heck of a time trying to wake her up to take a picture.
Grandma insisted on sending Annie an Easter bonnet. It got here late...but its super cute! Now her head just needs to grow into it a little more...

Two Months!

Annie had her 2 month visit to the doctor this week (and she got her shots...which was much more traumatic for me than it was for her!). I can't believe how fast she's growing! She's already 11 lbs. 12 oz. and 23 1/2 inches long. She's in the 90th percentile for her height and in the 75th percentile for her weight. I never thought I'd say this, but chubby babies are absolutely the way to go. Her little legs have got three little rolls, and her elbows have the cutest dimples you could ever imagine.

Maybe the best thing is that she smiles so much now...not just when she's pooping, like before. Her little dimples melt my heart. She smiles when I pick her up from her cradle, and when Kris plays with her, and pretty much any time you talk to her and show her a little love. She shows all her emotions on her face (just like her mother!) and has the funniest personality (just like dad!). I took this picture a couple days ago. I was changing her diaper and she just shoved her hand right down her pants. Pretty sure she's seen Kris do that a few times (minus the diaper, of course!).

Annie got to spend the last few weeks with Grandma & Grandpa Hunter when they came to visit from Idaho. Grandma got Annie to herself every morning while I went to work. It was hard to see them go, but we were so glad they were able to come and meet their new granddaughter!
